As pastors and ministry leaders, we often find ourselves striving to meet expectations and fulfill responsibilities, but we must remember that grace in ministry leadership is essential. The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, reminds us that our salvation and standing before God are not earned through our own efforts, but are given freely through His grace. In the same way, as we lead and serve others, we must remember that it is only by God’s grace that we can truly make an impact in their lives.

Understanding Grace in Our Own Lives

To extend grace to others, we must first experience and understand it in our own lives. Reflect on the moments when you have been overwhelmed by God’s love and forgiveness. These are the times when His grace has touched you most deeply, giving you a glimpse of the unmerited gift of His love.
